EVENT INFORMATION 

  • This event will be held outside (weather permitting). 
  • Dancing will conform to RSOBHD rules. Judge's decision is final. 
  • Dancers must show 2022 ScotDance registration card on day of event in order to compete.     
  • Trophies will be awarded to the dancer with the highest points in each class. Primary will receive medals only. 
  • Cash awards for oldest Premier class. 1st: $50 2nd: $40 3rd: $30 4th: $20
  • Pre-Premier and Premier events will be divided into age groups according to entries received.   
  • Age is determined as of the day of the competition.           
  • A special award, The Pat Campbell Memorial Award, will be presented to the Premier Dancer of the Day. The winner will be determined by a dance off of all Premier dancers who are awarded a 1st place after Premier awards are given. The dance will be the Lilt (4 steps)
  • We reserve the right to combine or cancel any event due to lack of participation. If the event is cancelled, competitors will be notified prior to the day before the competition.     
  • Entries must be received by Sunday, August 21, 2022.

COVID-19 INFORMATION

If a person is feeling ill, he/she must not attend a SDUSA event. This includes any of the following symptoms within the 48 hours prior to the event: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea

It is the responsibility of all attendees to review these guidelines before coming to the competition.

  • If a person is feeling ill, he/she should not attend a SDUSA event.
  • All attendees at SDUSA events must comply with state, local & venue health and safety laws, rules, and regulations for physical distancing and masking.
  • PA State Guidelines
  • Dancers may wear a mask in the marshaling area and on the competition stage. Dancers may remove their mask prior to dancing and place it in a paper bag at the back of the stage. Dancers should bring their own bags.
  • The Organizer may make the stage available for warm up if state and local guidelines permit and
    recommendations for masking and physical distancing are followed.
  • Please follow state and local guidelines for physical distancing and masking in spectator areas.
  • Changing rooms may be made available. State and local guidelines for masking and physical distancing must be followed.
  • Dancers must bring a valid 2022 RSOBHD Registration card. Pre-Premier cards will be collected at Registration.
  • As an outdoor venue, we will use a piper.
  • State and local guidelines for masking and physical distancing must be followed in the marshalling area.
  • Prizewinners may be recognized on stage. Dancers should step forward when their name is called and then collect prizes and Pre-Premier registration cards at a separate location after the awards ceremony.
  • Organizers must continue to provide hand sanitizer throughout the venue.
